Jewelry store robber Takatori pushes Conan out of a moving car. He is taken to the hospital for minor injuries but leaves at the earliest opportunity. He heads to the Shingetsu bar to follow up on his only clue. Near the bar he discovers Takatori's accomplice Utsumi's apartment and the body of jewelry store buyer Yamaga inside.
